Through the lens of photographer and cultural historian Katsumasa Kusunose, Jazz Kissa takes you deep into the soul of Japan’s listening culture, where cafés became temples of sound and Hi-Fi speakers turned music into an almost spiritual experience. For nearly a century, Jazz Kissa cafés have been sanctuaries where music is not only heard but felt. Over 15 years, Kusunose documented these spaces, preserving their atmosphere for future generations.
Foreword by Devon Turnbull, design by Bernardo Berga, myself and Oliver Stafford. Published by ERG Media

Wayfinding and Labeling for KMSKA, Antwerp, Belgium. The Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA) underwent a major renovation, completed in 2022. We designed the complete wayfinding system for the 30,000 m² building and labels for over 600 artworks. The transformation added striking contemporary “white rooms” within the historic galleries. To unite old and new, we chose a refined sans-serif typeface, precision-cut from solid brass, reinforcing the dialogue between tradition and modernity. Together with Bernardo Berga, we created custom icons in the same style to guide visitors intuitively. Wayfinding elements, including matching brass floorplans, were strategically placed for optimal circulation, with freestanding panels where wall signage wasn’t possible. All labels were manually typeset and color-matched to their mounting surfaces for minimal visual disruption, with key works marked by distinctive brass labels.

Booklet for Grand Seiko. Launched at Watches & Wonders 2025 in Geneva, this booklet presents Grand Seiko’s latest novelties and updated range. It communicates the brand’s identity while breathing new life into its visual and tactile expression. The cover features a close-up of the new Ice Forest dial, powered by the brand-new U.F.A. caliber, and is finished in a half-linen construction with a top-loading paper slipcase. This allows for a custom presentation where two books produce a rudimentary form of a watch, with the new watch face in the centre. Produced in 2024 for ERG Media.

Publication and website for URA Yves Malysse Kiki Verbeeck.
URA celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2020 with a retrospective at Bozar in Brussels. To accompany the exhibition, we designed a monographic publication offering a unique perspective on the oeuvre and architectural language of this Brussels-based practice.
This collaboration led to a redesign of URA’s graphic identity and website, building on the visual foundation established in the publication.

Lead creative designer for A+ Architecture in Belgium 2017–2024.
a bimonthly publication showcasing the latest in Belgian architecture. Our work spanned 44 issues, from A+267 to A+310, each averaging 126 pages. Over time, the magazine's size was adjusted for economy, with the top section trimmed while preserving the original design. A further update in 2023 introduced larger cover images and a simplified interior layout. Produced i.c.w. Joris Kritis (2017–2022) & Bernardo Berga (2023–2024)

Publication for CIVA: La Royale Belge
La Royale Belge (1967–1970) is an iconic office building designed by architects Pierre Dufau (Paris) and René Stapels (Brussels) in collaboration with landscape architects Jean Delogne and Claude Rebold in Watermael-Boitsfort, on the green outskirts of Brussels' second ring. The design utilized the most advanced construction techniques, materials, and technology of its time.Twenty contributions from specialists, whose research has unearthed previously unpublished documents, are complemented by testimonies from the construction period. The publication is illustrated by photographer Maxime Delvaux, who produced an exclusive photo essay. It is a softcover publication featuring a bright orange cover married to a grey printed PVC dustjacket, mimicking the typical sheen of the windows featured in the building. The immense research featured in the book together with a 3 language layout made this a particularly interesting project. Produced in 2022 for CIVA.

Jersey Design for KAA Gent. A full range of jerseys for KAA Gent was designed across the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons. For the 2023–24 season, a pre-match jersey celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the Planet Group Arena, referencing the stadium’s distinctive—and often glitchy—lighting pattern in a playful nod. A special Christmas edition fan jersey was also released, featuring an abstract interpretation of the stadium’s seating layout for the match against OHL. For the 2024–25 season, the concept centered around "Stamnummer 7," reimagining the classic sash jersey with an added crossbar to form a bold number 7. The sold-out Christmas jersey from the previous year was revived in a striking blue, neon yellow, and grey colorway for the European campaign. A new pre-match shirt, inspired by a waving blue-and-white striped flag, incorporated a neon yellow stripe to cover all kit scenarios—home, away, and third—while ensuring visual cohesion and eliminating mismatched shorts. Produced i.c.w. Bert Huyghe.

Publication for Type 7
Type 7 is Porsche’s online magazine, which has released an annual “best of” print edition since its inception. For 2025, we created a striking addition to the series, spotlighting automotive culture, art, and architecture. The publication arrives in a custom package that unfolds in the shape of the Type 7 logo, revealing a linen slipcase with a cutout showcasing the artwork. Five unique cover images were produced, and the version you received was left to chance. Each package is topped with an orange-and-silver poster, completing the experience. This edition was designed and produced in collaboration with Oliver Stafford, Thomas Walk, Nat Twiss, and Ted Gushue, and published by ERG Media.
